What is better, simpler and more effective? TRIZ or “Method of Denial”. I propose a competition with solving real cases
This is not an article with information about anything. This is an offer of competition in creative solutions to technical or business problems. Competition between two methods. One of them is sold through TRIZ courses. The second is the free “Negation and Combination Method”

Denial method: It is quite possible without a coach.
All sorts of little or much advertised methods are good when they work. And they don’t just work, they work quickly, simply and immediately. Let's take an example. We wanted to have lunch. We go and have lunch. Immediately. That is, from the emergence of a need to its satisfaction, minimal time passes. It’s the same in business or technology.
For example, a company has a problem with developing new brakes for a car. And she can’t wait for her employees to start training and start solving the problem in 9 months. Who should I teach in advance? It is not known in advance where the problem will be and who to teach in advance. Moreover, it is not free. And if a year passes from learning to using the knowledge, then consider the learning in vain. People will forget everything. Especially those who have had Covid.
So you need to have faster methods. A type of denial method. There are other methods that are described in the article about the denial method. There are quite a lot of them and they are all used with varying degrees of activity.
Heated debates about TRIZ or not TRIZ. Are they gypsies or not? Why unfounded allegations and statements!? I propose to hold a competition to solve cases.
The following simple regulation is proposed:
A TRIZ specialist is called to the competition. I personally challenge myself from the Method of Denial.
Those who want their cases to be solved using two methods offer them here publicly.
By voting, we select three cases for solution. The tasks must be in the field of technology or business.
We give the competing parties a week to decide.
The parties post their decisions at the same time for everyone to see.
Next, we discuss success or failure.
Identifying the best without comparison is impossible. And I am sure that many will be interested in taking part. I also hope that TRIZ will not be afraid to put forward a fighter. It is not forbidden to even field more than one fighter.
Competition participants can also submit cases for the competition. For example, TRIZ may not offer a new case, but an already solved old one. If you are confident in your own success, I think this will not be a problem.
Since all this is proposed to be done publicly, the results will be publicly available.
To make the competition useful to readers and participants, it is advisable to describe everything in detail. How and what was used to solve. And not just give the answer or answers to the problem.
This competition is offered in the interests of the public. To really test in practice how everything works. How well does it work? How fast. And can normal people use all this?
You can come to an agreement with VOIR (All-Russian Society of Inventors and Innovators). VOIR may present some problems to solve in this particular competition.
I'm not sure that anyone from TRIZ will want to take part. Although it is precisely for the promotion of this method that this kind of competition will be very useful. It would even be possible for the TRIZers themselves to organize such public competitions among themselves.

I fully admit that you can train AI and get results simply by asking TRIZchat or NegativeChat. Although, of course, the formulation of the problem plays a big, if not the biggest, role. Which often contains the solution. But AI will not set the task for us.
