Problem with the sound turning off when the screen turns on

I continue to use the exotic Panasonic Toughbook CF-19Mk5 laptop
It currently runs Alt Linux

It works decently, solving almost all everyday problems.

As in the case of the touchscreen (see my other note), from a certain moment a funny glitch with sound appeared:
The sound works through the speaker. If you turn off the screen, the sound continues. If the screen is turned on, the sound turns off. At the same time, sound comes through the headphone output without interruption.

I turned on the sound back via alsamixer:
$alsamixer

press F6

select device:

default:0 HDA Intel PCH

Select Headphone output, press number 8

Press Esc

Repeat next time you lock your screen 🙂

The glitch is typical for Panasonic and depends little on the distribution.

I tried different methods from the Internet: jammed the outputs, rearranged the sound subsystem, etc.

But, I don’t remember where, maybe on the Panasonic forum, I came across a simple fix:

vim usr/share/pulseaudio/alsa-mixer/paths/analog-output-speaker.conf

In chapter [Element Headphone]:

[Element Headphone]
switch = off
volume = off

replaced by

[Element Headphone]
switch = mute
volume = merge

and EVERYTHING.
No dancing with a tambourine.

Maybe it will be useful for someone, but for me it’s a memory pill 🙂

(I am writing this note because the glitch returned after the update and I spent about 30 minutes searching again)
