Temperature monitoring system in greenhouses (Telegram, 1C, Yandex Alice, Excel and voice notification)
Today, even a monitoring system in greenhouse complexes is not a cheap pleasure.
We tested a relatively inexpensive kit, installed 3 industrial temperature + humidity sensors (modbus rtu) in each 100-meter greenhouse, of which there were 9, collected all the data via a wired bus (Utp5e RS485) about 900 meters without any intermediate switches and complicating the project. In the meantime, they installed the AntexGate computer.
So, the project was implemented on the AntexGate Internet of Things controller we developed + free Node-red software, which transmits data either directly to the monitor screen or via a web interface:
The current temperature and humidity for each device are displayed on the main screen; in case of a break or absence of a sensor, the ERR value is displayed, and a pop-up screen is implemented to select a page.
For each day, you can look at the data on the graph and analyze the relationship between temperature and humidity (blue line humidity, white temperature), the graph is built for both an individual sensor and the average values in the greenhouse.
For a more detailed analysis, it is possible to download the archive in csv format and build analytics using external means, for example, for an entire season.
Settings page for notification and binding of Teleram bot. When a critical limit is reached from all devices (phones, PCs) with an open web interface or from a connected monitor, a voice notification occurs about the low or high temperature of a specific greenhouse and a specific sensor.
We plan to expand the project, because… in the local wifi network, everyone has access to the current values, but I want to view the values remotely, here we plan to use the Yandex Smart Home, a free monitoring application is perfect and also creates a graph.
Yandex has approximately the same friendly interface; in addition, in production you can scatter speakers and ask about the status of the system.
In conclusion, I would like to say that the implementation of this system is suitable for a specific customer and the great advantage of the freely programmable AntexGate + Node-red systems is that it can be further developed. You can add docking with other systems, scales, irrigation, drives, climate systems and more.
