Replace me, neural network, replace me completely

I have a counter question – why do they write “programmers” in the headlines?

Why not backend developers, or frontend developers, or Android developers? Are we all “programmers” in IT? Maybe the media is simply not aware of the diversity of developers, roles and directions?

It’s the same with “copywriters”, plus hype, hype, you have to get views, but there’s no time to understand the terms, much less explain.

I'm closing this topic

Here is a quote from Alexander Krainov, director of artificial intelligence technology development at Yandex.

“Generative neural networks are capable of writing very logical and coherent text. But they do not have their own opinion, there is no goal to achieve anything with their text. Then no. They will not replace good copywriters. But neural networks may well become a copywriter’s tool.

Also watch the video from eight years ago with Alexander’s report and it will become clear to you why I introduced such a disparaging term as INI. The video contains quite a lot of interesting things about this very “intelligence,” especially at the beginning.

And also listen to Vladimir Lvovich Arlazarov, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The man stood at the origins.

Regalia.

Watch from 58 minutes.

I’ll leave here a quote from Vladimir Lvovich that I liked.

“To say that ChatGPT is artificial intelligence is ridiculous. He doesn't solve any creative problems. He can talk to you, he can write a text, by the way, this is also a rather important task, because a person produces an infinite number of all kinds of meaningless texts*. And the fact that they can be replaced by a computer that can produce these texts is great. But this is just one of the tasks… The main areas of scientific and industrial activity that people are engaged in, including creative ones, are not only inaccessible to any ChatGPT, but they cannot be properly installed.”

*directly about me.

That's it, there's nothing more to say. Topic closed. There is no magic wand.

That's all. I warned you that the article was chaotic and disgusting – I didn’t deceive you. Thank you for enduring all this stoically. Usually, competent editors here write some kind of hint for you to write a comment, but I’m illiterate and also tired. Yes, also vote on whether the topic of the next article would be interesting to you.
