“God line” and “litmus test” for AI image generators

Copilot Designer (Bing Image Creator on the DALL-3 platform), Maze.Guru and several other lesser-known AI generators.

I won’t bore you with pictures, I’ll just say that in all these one and a half years, not a single neural network has been able to even come close to repeating the level of understanding of the concept that was demonstrated by the old one (at that time, if I’m not mistaken, version 3, MidJourney).

Just look at the samples that have become references for me.

Is there hope?

I want to say that my opinion regarding the artistic and semantic value of all the images presented is extremely subjective. Of course, you have yours. I'd be glad to hear it in the comments!

To summarize, dear readers, I wish each of you, especially those involved in AI creativity, to find your “god line.”

To be honest, in the early stages of working with neural networks, I was already so accustomed to receiving new, incredibly high-quality visual material that I could not spend a day without generating new images (MidJourney, and then Copilot Designer). The process was just like some kind of digital drug, by God…

PS With the advent of the UDIO AI composer, God's string will now work not only for image generators, but also for music (including lyrics, vocals).

Despite the fact that UDIO is still at the beta testing stage, its capabilities are already many times higher than anything I have tried before.

A little later I will publish an article on the UDIO AI composer with live examples.

Yours sincerely,

A.P.
