Apple is working on a MacBook with a 20-inch foldable screen

Foldable devices are no longer the future, but the present.

While Samsung and other Android smartphone manufacturers are experimenting with flexible displays, Apple, as always, is in no hurry.

But, as it became known, work on a folding MacBook is already in full swing behind the scenes of the company!

Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, known for his accurate forecasts about the brand's unreleased products, claims that the Cupertino team plans to release a MacBook with a folding 20.3-inch display as early as 2027:

I've been getting a lot of inquiries lately about whether Apple plans to mass produce a foldable iPhone or iPad in 2025 or 2026. My latest survey shows that Apple's only foldable product with a clear development schedule right now is the 20.3″ MacBook, expected to go into mass production in 2027.

This is Apple's first foldable product with a “clear development schedule,” which shows the company is serious about its intentions.

There is still little information about other flexible devices of the brand. Kuo says plans for foldable iPhones and iPads are at an earlier stage and their future is still unclear.

What awaits us?

Just imagine: a MacBook that turns into a compact tablet! These are not just two devices in one, but a new level of mobility and functionality.

On such a screen it will be convenient to work with graphics, watch movies, play games, and just surf the Internet.

Are you looking forward to a foldable MacBook?
