In general, a fairly productive device, which, apparently, will not be wildly expensive (given its good characteristics). It is probably not very convenient to use it as a workstation – neither a small keyboard nor a display has this. But if you connect an external keyboard, mouse, screen to the device, then it becomes quite possible to work with it.
Well, you can play at any time, since the device is for games and is “sharpened”. Gamers will be able to play both at home and on the road.
GPD Win Max 2
Another powerful laptop for gaming. This is a 2022 model, but now it has received an update – an AMD Ryzen 7040U Phoenix processor and a few others. The cost is about $799 for participants of the crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo.
As for the diagonal of the screen, it is small – only 10.1 inches. The display is touch sensitive and supports both finger and stylus input. The keyboard is backlit, there are game elements, including additional buttons, D-pad, analog controllers. The fingerprint sensor is built into the power button. In general, like the previous device, GPD Win Max 2 can be used as a tool for working with “heavy” content. But in this case, you will need an external monitor, since it is extremely difficult to work with a diagonal of 10.1 all day.
After the completion of the crowdfunding campaign, the cost of the device will most likely rise to $1,100.
GPD Win 4 (2023)
And this no longer a laptop, although the characteristics are very good. These are, so to speak, hybrid gaming devices-sliders. The keyboard is hidden behind the screen, so that if necessary, you can hide it and work with the device only as a console.

GPD Win 3
The company raised funds for this device using crowdfunding. It collected $1 million instead of $25,000 requested, which can serve as an indicator of the demand for such devices. Characteristics:

But, like all previous models, it can be connected to a docking station and work like a full-fledged PC with good performance. The device is based on the Intel Tiger Lake hardware platform. The updated version has a Core i7-1195G7 processor with four cores. The clock frequency reaches 5.0 GHz. The chip includes an Intel Iris Xe Graphics graphics accelerator.
The GPD Win 3 version on the Core i7-1195G7 processor costs about $1,125.
In general, gadgets from GPD are unusual, but quite functional. There are, of course, disadvantages – some users complain about throttling.
