Rust pet project needs constructive criticism

About 8 months ago I wrote a pet project in Rust that tries to be like Hibernate in the Java ecosystem. I even published it as Open Source, but received negative feedback and removed it from GitHub.

Now I decided to return to this project, but approach it from a different angle. I'd love to hear project ideas from experienced Rust developers. What in my project is not done in the idiomatic Rust style, etc. and so on. In general, I would like to get a checklist of what is wrong in the project and how to fix it.
