Gazprombank platform for client services launched
Gazprombank launched the G2 technology platform for customer services and automated systems. The development will allow us to abandon software from suppliers that have left the Russian market.
Applications on the G2 Platform are capable of replacing software from suppliers that have left the Russian market. The problem of import substitution is solved through the use of open source components of the technology stack with support from domestic companies, in particular the PostgreSQL DBMS.
The platform provides the developer with a set of effective concepts with their software support and is a set of libraries and developer tools in the Kotlin and TypeScript languages.
Using the G2 platform allows you to:
- reduce the development time of new systems by two or more times,
- reduce the number of developers involved,
- standardize application architecture.
Gazprombank is carrying out import substitution of key banking systems through its own development. The new platform will become an important element of infrastructure, since it can be used to quickly automate the activities of banks and corporations by developing applications and remote services in the form of web applications. Currently, two industrial applications have been created on it for the bank and its subsidiaries, and two more are in the active development phase.
The G2 platform is included in the Russian software register, and it is planned to release the product to the market this year.
Now all large companies face a global task – to transfer key processes to Russian software. We decided to take the path of creating our own platform, which allows us to quickly assemble new systems from ready-made elements. When developing G2, we took into account the shortcomings of other platforms and tried to correct them in our product. We have created a convenient and effective tool for developers, which we are ready to offer to the market. The solution can be used by any organization: corporations and other enterprises, financial organizations, IT integrators and software developers to ensure the security and independence of their IT systems.
