Zextras New Zimbra Web Client Interface

According to technical experts, Zimbra is a reliable and easy-to-maintain mail server. Zextras developers’ efforts in recent years have been focused on ease of management for administrators, data protection, and new collaboration features. But mail server users paid attention not only to the wide functionality, but also to the outdated design of the web client. Zextras is attentive to customer requests and has always been guided by their wishes in its developments. Zextras has created a new Zimbra web client theme with a modern design. This is a good gift from Zextras to the entire Zimbra community and will therefore be available on mail server versions 8.6 through 9 whether you are using Zextras Suite or not. In this article, we will show you how to install a new skin and how to enable it for regular users.

The main priority when creating a new theme was to preserve the user experience. That is why the new design theme contains the same elements of the classic theme, but at the same time it looks more concise and modern by using icons instead of labels and reducing the borders between interface elements.

In order to download a new theme, you need to follow the link https://www.zextras.com/ru/tema-zextras-interface-zimbra/ and fill out the form. After that, a letter with links to download the new theme will be sent to the email address you specified. If you are a Zextras customer, the theme will be added automatically after Zextras Suite has been updated to version 3.1.5

After installation, the theme will become available in the user settings. The sysadmin can install a new theme from Zextras in the Zimbra admin console for users and service classes. You can always go back to the classic Zimbra interface.

We hope you and your users enjoy the new Zextras theme!
