Why Arc Browser is Really Good

Conclusion

My general feeling about Arc is that people took a closer look at where browsers are headed in 2023 and tried to go further than others, and without years of legacy.

If you take each individual element of Arc, somewhere you will certainly find something similar: a vertical tab bar, and auto-delete of inactive tabs, and a command line, and a split-screen. All features have already been implemented, if not in the browsers themselves, then in extensions for them.

But it’s one thing when an idea is attached to the side of the browser with an extension, and another when it’s laid in the foundation. A lot of things about Arc feel more native and more deeply integrated to me. So now I prefer to use it. And I think that for many of you (but not for all) it may also be the best option.

A final moment of advertising: if you are interested in browsers because you work with JavaScript, then you may be interested in our conference HolyJS, which is only a few days away. Well, in the screenshots in the text, you probably already noticed it yourself!
