The update was created taking into account the current needs of schoolchildren, students and teachers of schools and colleges and includes everything necessary to solve any academic tasks.

In anticipation of the new school year, MyOffice has focused its efforts on developing tools for teachers and students. New product release “MyOffice Education” offers improved functions for working with tables, which will significantly simplify data processing in educational institutions. Expanded document design capabilities will also help teachers and students quickly and efficiently cope with educational tasks, increasing the effectiveness of the educational process.

The new version of MyOffice Education has improved autosave and file recovery functions to minimize the risk of losing important information. Editors automatically save changes to a document at a specified time interval so that data is not lost in the event of a failure. In the event of an abnormal termination of work, the user will be prompted to restore unsaved changes at the next launch. The autosave frequency — from 1 minute to 120 minutes — can be adjusted depending on preferences and work requirements. The innovation will be especially useful for teachers, schoolchildren and students who spend a lot of time preparing materials and worry about their safety.

The new version of the MyOffice Spreadsheet editor allows you to open and export files with the .xlsb extension. This makes the MyOffice spreadsheet editor a universal tool for exchanging data with colleagues and external organizations. The functionality will be useful for employees of educational organizations who work with archives, and for those teachers who have accumulated old documents and methodological recommendations that remain relevant.

Optimize data validation

Working with data has become more structured and convenient thanks to the new data validation functionality in the MyOffice Table editor. Now users can create drop-down lists and set date formats, which greatly simplifies entering information and helps avoid errors.

Drop-down lists allow you to limit the selection of values, which is especially useful when working with large amounts of data. Use them when collecting information from colleagues or planning events for the school year – generate possible options in advance and ask colleagues to fill out the table based on the given selection. And the date checking function allows you to set specific time frames, ensuring that all information entered is correct.

Automate data calculations in tables

The new autosum function allows you to avoid routine calculations in tables and significantly reduces the risk of calculation errors. With the help of autosum, you can, for example, quickly calculate the number of days of absence/presence of students and/or employees of an educational organization, as well as summarize various indicators (the number of students in a parallel class, the number of graduates, etc., the expenses and income of the institution, including salaries, expenses on materials and other budget items). Autosum helps you focus on analyzing data, not on counting it.

An important update of MyOffice Education was the exit from beta status of the presentation editor, created on the basis of MyOffice technologies. Now users have the opportunity to create presentations for their reports and speeches. The editor's functions cover the main user scenarios and allow students and employees of educational institutions to easily design slides with the necessary formatting. The product meets the requirements of safe development according to GOST and guarantees the reliability and protection of your data.

New tools help you create visually appealing documents. The ruler helps teachers and students create polished materials with ease. Use the eyedropper to copy colors from elements in the workspace and apply them to another object without having to constantly manually select colors. And instead of manually correcting every inconsistency in the desired style, quickly bring text into a uniform look with the formatting cleanup feature.

The ability to hide and show slides will help teachers quickly rebuild a presentation for different audiences. Now there is no need to create several versions of the document, just hide the slides that are not needed now. You can still interact with the slide in the workspace, hiding only affects the display during demonstration. This function will also be useful for secretaries or directors of educational organizations to create presentations and reports.

Grouping and ungrouping objects also makes it possible to organize materials more clearly: teachers can combine slide elements to create more structured and understandable presentations, and students can do so to simplify their projects.

Use additional design features

Use the advanced functionality of tables with the text wrap feature: insert a wider range of objects into a table (shape, line, image, text box, table of contents, formula, footnote, and cross-reference), and carry it to the next page.

Users can easily insert various elements next to the table, which allows creating more complex and informative documents. For example, add an image or a graph next to the table to visualize data and harmoniously design the content. All text wrapping functions are implemented in an intuitive interface, even for beginners.

Create interactive documents

The new release has expanded the ability to insert hyperlinks into a document using the context menu. Thus, you can insert links not only to web pages or email addresses, but also to external documents: tables, presentations, images and other types of files. The editor becomes a convenient tool for creating a list of useful materials for a lesson. You can change or delete a hyperlink at any time.
