MyOffice introduces a new technology for developers — a document viewer in MyOffice SDK. Also in release 3.1, we have significantly increased the performance and number of installations of MyOffice Private Cloud 3, implemented a calendar and activity feed in the Squadus digital space, and added many useful functions for working with tables in MyOffice Standard 3.
Below we study the composition of release 3.1: we tell you what we have added and optimized for each product, and for which office tasks these changes will be useful.
The 3.1 release brings a ton of new features to our desktop, mobile, and web apps. We're committed to continuing to grow products based on user needs. Here are the main updates that appeared in the release:
View your corporate calendar in Squadus
The new “Calendar” section on the sidebar of tabs in Squadus allows you to view all the information about events from the Mailion mail system calendar: time, date, event recurrence, meeting link, event organizer, event participant statuses, etc. The user can quickly go from Squadus to a mail calendar event, for example, to edit the event if he created it.
Stay up to date with corporate news and important information from colleagues
Now the user can view notifications and mentions from all conversations, channels and discussions in a new section in the form of a bell on the sidebar of tabs. The activity feed will help you easily cope with large information flows and promptly prioritize your communications.
Work with drop-down lists, pivot tables and smart tables in MyOffice Standard 3
Since release 3.1, in the spreadsheet editor, when initially creating a table with calculations, the user can use drop-down lists to fill in repeating data from pre-prepared templates. This will minimize errors in names and subsequent calculations.
If the user needs to visualize data, he will be able to do this using a smart table. It supports smart table styles from other editors, which allows you to change styles for easier perception of information. You can set up an individual and familiar design for smart tables with the function – “Change styles” from the style bank. For the convenience of users, tables open with styles in the same color schemes that were set in MS Excel. In this case, the theme colors from the document are automatically added to the color selection panel of the MyOffice Table theme.
For a more detailed analysis, the user can create a pivot table based on the smart table, which will update the data when it changes or the size of the smart table increases.
You can also see subtotals in the pivot table and work with grouped data by specific values. For convenience, you can rename columns via the right panel and change the layout of the pivot table.
Organize effective teamwork of more employees in “MyOffice Private Cloud 3”
Now “MyOffice Private Cloud” can be used in installations for 50,000 users. This will allow large organizations and holding structures to unite all their employees in a single secure environment and provide them with reliable tools for joint work with documents.
The performance of MyOffice Private Cloud 3 has also increased significantly when navigating and viewing lists of objects in the system. Now, when navigating through folders located in the storage, the contents of folders are loaded 2 times faster. Displaying available folders in the navigation panel is 12 times faster.
Use new technology – document viewer in MyOffice SDK
The developers have a new tool – a document viewer. It is AMP, but without the ability to edit. The viewer allows you to open and view a text document, table or presentation, if you do not want the file to be changed.
