About what

The course consists of ten materials. You can get acquainted with the topics in any order – it all depends on your current skills and questions of interest. The first part contains practical examples of using information security tools, their descriptions and configuration instructions. Here are the topics waiting for you:

• how to catch network hackers on decoy servers,
• methods of countering brute-force attacks,
• description of mitmproxy – a set of tools for analyzing HTTP traffic,
• how to strengthen Nginx and protect services from hacking using an open source tool.
