Hello everyone! We continue to expand the geography of our research to deepen our own understanding of the industry and help more job seekers and companies. Today we will tell you about our plans for the Belarusian market and how you can help.

So, the IT industry in Belarus is gaining momentum, and accordingly, the demand for services of specialized specialists is growing. But not all “home” companies have a chance to get strong IT specialists on staff.

If the IT brand is not developed, the company has to bear additional hiring costs: offer salaries above the market or involve recruiting agencies to find employees. A developed IT employer brand helps to attract developers, testers, analysts and everyone-everyone-everyone without unnecessary costs. According to our data, job seekers traditionally give priority to vacancies of companies with a strong IT brand and are more willing to agree to work there even on lesser terms.

In 2024, we will conduct a large-scale study among employers in the Republic of Belarus. The focus will be on the employer's IT brand. This term refers to the image of a company in the IT community: a set of characteristics by which an IT specialist chooses or does not choose a company as a place of work.
To make our research open and relevant, we invite experts from the Belarusian IT market to join the council. Experts will help identify IT sector players for research and adjust the criteria for evaluating such companies.

Research Methodology

We evaluate each brand according to the brand funnel. We determine conversions at each stage of the funnel and the level of “health” of the IT brand of companies as an employer.
