A new way of stealing cryptocurrency has been discovered

Red Canary has discovered a new approach to stealing cryptocurrency from Windows users. The essence of the approach is that cybercriminals distribute modified KMSpico installers, infecting computers running Microsoft Windows with malware that steals data from cryptocurrency wallets. KMSpico is a multifunctional activator for the Microsoft product line.

APT-29 attacks French organizations

ANSSI said that French companies have been suffering from ART-29 attacks since February 2021. Attackers are most often targeted by government agencies, think tanks and telecommunications service providers. Most often, ART uses malware such as GoldMax, Sibot, and GoldFinder in its attacks.

Cyberattack Report Published for Q3 2021

According to the document presented by Positive Technologies experts, the total number of attacks in the 3rd quarter of this year decreased by 4.8% compared to the same period in 2020. Experts suggest that such a recession may be associated with the departure of most cyber groups.
