the principle of optimal nutrient content and the principle of optimal body parameters

In essence, everything is very simple. The initial idea is as follows.

If the body really has necessary and sufficient the amount of proteins, fats, carbohydrates, minerals, vitamins and other nutrients, then it functions most efficiently (within the framework of genetic and other characteristics inherited by this body :).

This raises a question. How do you know if the body has enough substances it needs? Indeed, in the event of a deficiency of such substances, they will first of all enter the most important organs. In this case, other organs of the body will receive them according to the residual principle, which means that they will suffer and collapse. Degradation of conventionally less important organs will lead to a similar process in more important organs, because everything in the body is interconnected.

In other words, we need to somehow find out if there is enough “nutrition” not for the most important organ, but for the most deprived one.

“Wait, buddy,” you say. – With a deficit is understandable. But the excess can sometimes be fatal! “

That’s it.

Therefore, it is important to ensure not just supply, but optimal supply of nutrients necessary and sufficient to of all organs of the body.

No one should be deprived, but no one should be overcrowded!

For this we need criteria for assessing the need and sufficiency supply of nutrients to our body.

U-curve nadir

The overwhelming majority of indicators characterizing the state of our body are described by a U-shaped curve. That is, if a little, then it is bad, but if a lot, then it is also bad. And it is usually good at the bottom of this curve, in the so-called “nadir”.

Optimal performance for prolonging life

“Norms” of laboratories (reference or reference indicators) characterize the condition of conditionally healthy people, but this is not enough for us, this is not enough for us!

In order to prolong life, the optimal indicators will be considered those at which the mortality rate is the lowest.

They do not always coincide with the “norms”.

Here, for example, for potassium (my analysis of the optimal range for potassium is HERE).

Based on this graph, in order to prolong life, it is necessary to strive for a potassium level in the blood of about 4-4.5 mmol / l (and the “norms” for potassium are much wider: 3.5-5.1 mmol / l).

That is, we assume that when the potassium level 4-4.5 mmol / l, then the necessary and sufficient amount of this microelement enters the body.

If the value is less than 4 mmol / l, then potassium is not enough! (Although within the “norms”). This means that the intake of potassium should be increased.

In the event that the level of potassium in the blood is more than 4.5 mmol / l, it is necessary to reduce the intake of this substance.

For selenium, the situation is even more indicative. The highest survival rate is achieved in the range above the Russian reference values (70-120 nanograms per milliliter), and the lower zone of the so-called. The “norm” lies generally in the area of increased mortality! Tin! : (((

Low selenium levels need to be corrected and this is quite possible in a simple and very natural way (for how I did it, and in the most pleasant way – see. HERE).

This is how you and I can (and should) consciously shape optimal filling of the body with nutrients – by observing and regulating the state of their characteristics in comparison with the optimum.

Neoteny

Unfortunately, not all parameters of our remarkable body have yet been able to find the nadir of the U-shaped curve. The human body is a rather complex mechanism, many aspects of the functioning of which still remain a mystery.

But we need some kind of criterion, some kind modelto regulate the supply of nutrients to our body!

If there is no criterion, there is no control. No control – no result.

Here I want to talk a little about neoteny.

Neotenia is a delay in the development of certain parameters of the organism, leading to the preservation of childhood traits in adult animals.

Some scientists believe that humans live significantly more than their closest primate relatives because they retained their childhood traits and did not become an adult monkey. This can be clearly seen from the figure.

Well-known naked mole rats may have a long life because they have retained a huge number of childhood traits: more than 40 signs of neoteny in anatomy, biochemistry, and brain function of naked mole rats, which are absent in rats and other rodents (Skulachev).

A young body is a strong body!

The probability of death is lowest at the age of 5-12 years!

The incidence of infectious diseases:

Based on the above considerations and data, I suggest hypothesis that the composition of the human body is best at the age of about 5-12 years.

This means that the composition of micro- and macroelements in the human body of this age is exactly what we should strive for in order to increase the duration of our life.

Let me emphasize that this is not a dogma, but a working hypothesis.

The principle of optimal body parameters

And here we can generalize the Principle of Optimal Nutrient Content, extending it to other characteristics of the body, such as the concentration of platelets in the blood or body mass index or glomerular filtration rate, etc.

Those. we assume that if we manage to keep the characteristics of the body in the nadir of the mortality curve, or in the parameters of 5-12 years, then by this we really contribute to the extension of our life

This hypothesis should not be applied mechanically. For example, it is clear that body weight in childhood cannot be a guideline.

Model

Thus, in order to optimize the content of nutrients, as well as all other parameters of the body, in order to prolong life, I propose to be guided by the following model:

1) if the nadir of the mortality curve is known, then one should strive for this area;

2) if the mortality curve has not yet been determined, then we will adhere to the reference values inherent in the age of about 5-12 years;

3) if it was not possible to use the parameters according to PP. 1 and 2, but it is known that the values grow (fall) with age, then one should strive for the lower (upper) third of the reference values;

4) in the remaining cases, it is necessary to adhere to the middle of the reference values.

Notes (edit)

It is clear that the Principle of Optimal Body Parameters does not plug all the gaping holes of aging. And we can continue to theorize for a long time and beautifully on the topic of aging, waiting for a bright future, when all issues are resolved, all holes are concreted. And do nothing for yourself, your beloved (beloved).

But you can act. This model is for those who acts… Right now.

This is not a dogma, but a purely working model.

I have researched (and continue to analyze) medical databases to find the optimum micronutrient. The studies that I have already completed HERE

In addition, during the preliminary analysis of medical databases, more than 30 body parameters were identified, for which a zone of optimal values was found in order to prolong life.

In the future, the found scientific works will be critically analyzed and the results will be published on my personal blog.

Ladies and gentlemen, determined to act rather than wait, study again model

Be healthy and happy!
