Ready one-shot “Induced transversion” for Foundry VTT

Spoilers follow, so if you’re a player and you want your GM to give you this one shot, send them this article and delay reading it yourself 🙂

Plot

hidden text

This curious one-shot differs primarily in that you will use ready-made characters to complete this adventure. These are not classic D&D heroes, but ordinary people with non-standard classes who will very quickly gain power (accompanied by various mutations). In the small town of Confir, a local wizard is building a lighthouse. The king decides to look at the highest and brightest lighthouse in the kingdom and sets off. And now, when only a few days remain before the arrival of the king, problems begin. The lighthouse illuminates the area with blue-black fire, and very soon people who fall into the light of these rays begin to complain about everything: from bloody diarrhea and falling off nails to strange appendages appearing and limbs twisting in the opposite direction. Finally, the mayor made a decision: you need to save the king and deal with the lighthouse, and your heroes will do this! Unusual monsters, a mutated goat named Yagodka, bad and good mutations of your heroes, all this awaits you inside a wonderful one-shot.

Everything for the game

Now it’s time to tell you what I did for you. I prepared maps of all locations (there are 6 of them), put up walls, lighting, music, placed monsters, prepared notes and objects, but first things first.

These are the locations themselves for the game:

Each location has walls, lights, music, monsters (where you can place monsters). As an example, a map of the cave. There are places where I placed colored lighting. I tried to make the walls of the caves as realistic and uneven as possible, so that your players really get the impression that they are in gnawed tunnels. There is a background sound + in separate parts of the locations there are separate sound effects.

Since the characters were non-standard, a character sheet was created for each, all characteristics were set, all equipment and biography were added. As an example, the character “dodger”:

(The characters do not have names, as the players themselves come up with them)

The monsters were also not classic, there are no such monsters in the bestiary, so I also made them and painted all their attacks in detail for the convenience of combat:

And the last. During the game, the characters of your players will mutate at a random moment, mutations can be bad (transversions), or they can be good (transitions). Transitions for each character are different, there are 6 of them in total. Transversions are the same for all, but there are 28 options. I added all transitions and transversions and painted them in the items section as “features”. Accordingly, at the moment when your player mutates, you can add the desired mutation to his character sheet and it will be displayed as a “feature”.

Authors “Induced Transversion” stories, the text of the adventure itself, player and monster character sheets, mutations, and maps.

I took the pictures for the tokens of heroes and monsters and the intro for the lobby from the Internet, so I don’t have authors, but if the art has a signature, I don’t remove it! :WITH
