Qbic, Yealink and ITC solutions are deployed in the Burny multifunctional complex in Vladivostok

Today we will talk about a project implemented in MFC Burny (Vladivostok) – the first Far Eastern project with the “city within a city” concept.

The Burny mixed-use complex includes a class A business center, a 5* Rodina apart-hotel, several conference rooms, meeting rooms, 4 restaurants recognized as the best in the city, outdoor and indoor parking, a fitness center with a swimming pool and a shopping gallery.

The head of the project IT department conducted an overview of the complex for our specialists Mikhail Igorevich Litoshenko.

All conference rooms and meeting rooms of the Burny multifunctional complex are equipped with modern classic video conferencing systems from Yealink, which include VC880 terminals and UVC84 cameras.

To manage video conferencing systems and other conference room equipment, Qbic TD-1060 Slim panel computers with iRidi software installed were selected.

In addition to the standard video conferencing call, the expanded functionality of iRidi allows you to control the camera, zoom, and also use ready-made presets. During negotiations, you can conveniently control the volume of ceiling microphones and external speaker systems.

By connecting various sources of video content, you can easily display the image from an external camera or laptop on a large screen (TV) or demonstrate the content to remote video conferencing participants.

After the meeting is over, the entire set of equipment can be easily turned off with one button.

To control presets on the Yealink VC880 VKS terminal, an RS232-USB cable connected to an Ethernet-RS232 converter is used.

Ceiling microphones with activity indicators (on/off) capture voice anywhere in the conference room.

For better audibility, speakers and presenters use hand-held radio microphones and ITC lavalier microphones.

To hold the informal part of meetings, “Burny” has the “Ocean” hall. The hall is equipped with a wide-format LED screen and a modern acoustic system with support for the Dante protocol, including ITC radio microphones.

Qbic computers have also found their application here as a sound control panel. The flagship model Qbic TD-1070 fits perfectly into the design of the hall.

If necessary, guests can use their laptops, easily and quickly connecting to the IT infrastructure of the hall.

The server room is the control center for the entire multimedia system. ITC receivers, amplifiers and control controllers are also actively used here.

The elevator lobbies are equipped with interactive WayFinder systems, which help guests to freely navigate the building and also receive up-to-date information about additional services of the business center.

The period of completion of construction and commissioning of the complex fell on the difficult year 2022, when many Western vendors left Russia. We had to look for an equivalent replacement and urgently correct the design documentation.
