Pretending to be Jun to show newbies how to get their first job
Hi! I'm Dima, the author of the telegram channel Design party and Senior product designer of one of the largest companies in the Gambling & Betting sphere and I decided to conduct an experiment to show guys with little or no experience how to get their first job and not be afraid of anything.
General plan of action
1. Create a portrait of my character
2. Decide on your work experience
3. Create a portfolio (I chose Behance)
4. Write a resume
5. Create a response plan (Select a pool of companies and platforms for responses)
6. Prepare an interview plan
7. Social Security
8. Test
Back in February 2024, I conducted a series of polls on the channel to close some of these points, for example, the guys chose that my character would have no commercial experience, and only have completed a course and will have only 2 works in the portfolio

According to the results of all the surveys and my imagination, Matvey was born. According to legend, the boy was a streamer, but he got tired of uncertainty, plus the clock was ticking, so he made a choice in favor of interface design, namely product design.

Of course, I was too lazy to make a portfolio from scratch + I would hardly have been able to specifically make a design at a beginner level.
For the future, I want to organize a competition among senior / lead designers, where they will have to specifically make the worst possible design from the point of view of UI and UX
To do this, I asked the guys from the channel to send me their work and from there I chose 2 ideal cases.
The choice fell on:
1. Fierro – mobile gaming launcher from Nikita Pavlov
2. Memory Diary from Zakhara Glukhova
Now I have a full-fledged portfolio for job search, fill in the info a bit, add a cover and I have a great profile. By the way, if you come and add a view or like to the case for credibility, I will be very grateful!
