The device slightly outperforms the Samsung Galaxy A10e and other similar models.

Product support is great too. In addition to regular software updates, the company also takes care of the ecosystem of modules. So, last year there was an updated camera module for the device. The original Fairphone 3 has two cameras: 12 MP rear and 8 MP front. Fairphone 3+ received a 48 MP rear camera and a 16 MP front camera.

Fairphone 4

Well, now the fourth version of the device has appeared, which is based on the SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G. The smartphone has 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of main memory. As for the display, its diagonal is now 6.3-inches, the resolution is 2340 × 1080 pixels. The front camera boasts 25 MP at once, the rear one – 48 MP.

OS – Android 11, there is a fingerprint sensor in the power button, a memory card slot and two SIM slots. The battery capacity is 3905 mAh.

In terms of modularity, the device allows you to easily replace items such as the display, USB-C port, selfie camera, speaker, main camera array, speaker, battery and rubberized back panel. All elements of the phone’s construction can be purchased on the manufacturer’s website – from the first model to the current one.

The term of technical support for the device is five years. As in the case of previous versions, the manufacturer is committed to supporting Qualcomm chips even after the official support of the manufacturer of these components ends.

It seems that none of the manufacturers of mobile devices has this anymore. And if we take into account that this phone is really capable of lasting five years, then its price of 5-6 hundred euros, depending on the amount of memory, becomes justified. According to the company, it will provide support until 2027.

As reported, the device should go on sale on October 25th, so it won’t be long in coming. The only thing is that the device will be sold in the EU and the UK. Other countries will have to be delivered by roundabout routes.
