Life is short, art is forever

Life is short, art is forever – this is part of a quote from that same Hippocrates. The original quote reads: “Life is short, science is long, chance is shaky, experience is deceptive, judgment is difficult.” To her, the doctor and philosopher tried to express regret that human life is too short to comprehend science.

The well-known blogger, rationalist and practicing psychiatrist Scott Alexander looks at the situation with great optimism. He titled his essay, which raises questions about the search for immortality and the role of science in our lives, with this very quote.

And we filmed a screen version of this work for you. This short film is the first work for us, so we are open to criticism. Moreover, this is not our last work in the format of a short film.
