Despite the growing crisis in the production of semiconductor components, manufacturers of electronic devices supply the market with new devices. In 2022, a lot of interesting models have come out that can be useful to both companies and ordinary users. More about these models – under the cut.

Intel NUC 11 Essential

This is a new project from Intel codenamed Atlas Canyon. So far, computers have not yet appeared on sale, but some of their features are already known. For example, models based on Intel Celeron N4505, Celeron N5105 and Pentium Silver N6005 will be available.

Previously, these devices became known thanks to a leak, and now this information has been confirmed.

As for other characteristics of the devices, the case size will be 135 x 115 x 36 mm. Mini PCs will support up to 32 GB of RAM (DDR4). The manufacturer will also offer the option of choosing a model with 64 GB eMMC.

It will be possible to work with two displays at the same time. Wireless – WiFi 5 and Bluetooth 5. Here is a list of ports and connectors:

Over the past few years, various companies have begun to produce mini-PCs that fit in the palm of your hand. Among these companies are both no-name Chinese and well-known corporations.

Now it has become known about the next model of the “handheld PC” from the Chinese. The model is called ZX01, it provides users with good opportunities, while having a very small size of 72 x 72 x 45 mm.

As for the processor, Intel Celeron N5105 Jasper Lake is installed here. It is made according to the new architecture and is somewhat more productive than its “brothers”. The graphics subsystem is also on top, it is quite possible to use it as a media center or even play not very “heavy” games. Agree, very good for such a crumb.

ZBOX Magnus EN

This is no longer a “Palm PC”, as in the previous case, but still, this is a small device that can be used for a variety of purposes. The device is quite powerful, inside there is an Intel Core i7-11800H processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080, so you can already run very productive games here. More precisely – any games, even very heavy, even light indie toys.

Both models with a motherboard and a case will be supplied, in case the user wants to complete the device himself, as well as ready-made, assembled computers with Windows 11 preinstalled. Core i7-11800H processor is an 8-core, 16-thread processor with a core frequency of up to 4.6 GHz.

Unfortunately, the cost of the device is still unknown, but, as you might guess, it is unlikely to be low – with such characteristics, the device can cost more than $1000.

Asus PN64 and PN52

Two different mini PC models from ASUS, based on Intel Core Alder Lake and AMD Ryzen 5000H. Both models were designed to be powerful systems in a small size that can handle a wide range of tasks. The size, which is 5.1″ x 4.7″ x 2.2″, is small, so that the device can be placed behind the display and get a free desktop surface.

As for the first model, it is equipped with an M.2 2280 slot, plus there is a hard drive connector. In addition, the device supports DDR5-4800. In addition, depending on the configuration, WiFi 6 or WiFi 6E is installed in the PC.

The second model has a significant performance boost compared to last year’s Asus PN51. The user gets 1.3X CPU and 2X GPU, which will please many.

An unusual mini-PC with passive cooling and six Ethernet ports at once. The device is intended mainly for solving corporate problems, although, of course, no one will forbid an ordinary user to buy it.

Supports freeBSD and Linux device including OPNSense and Untangle. The mini-PC also works with Windows, so there is no problem in supporting different platforms.

In addition to Ethernet ports, 4 USB 3.0, HDMI and RJ45 COM are offered. There is also a power and reset button. You can install up to 64 GB of DDR4-3200 RAM. There are connectors for an SSD and a conventional hard drive.

The cost of a PC is from 400 to 800 euros. It is already on sale, both on AliExpress and Amazon.
