If the sound is placed in a circle

Hello reader, in this post I want to share how you can present an audio signal in such a way that you can see quite interesting things in the sound.

An audio signal in wave format is an array of numbers that can be represented as a graph. And on the chart, you can always highlight the minimums and maximums, so we are talking about their display.

Since initially there are a lot of things in the audio signal, it should first be passed through the filter. And only then find the minimums and maximums.

After that, they can be arranged along a circle, the period of which, let it be, for example, 1/100s, then for example, for a normal sinusoidal signal, it turns out:

Well, it seems nothing like that, but for the voice it turns out interesting:

Also, the classics look good, but the electric guitar and synthesizer often look like noise, although if you increase the period, something starts to appear, this type of visualization is also not suitable for drums.

Since in Fubar2k it is impossible (maybe it is possible, but I did not find how) to stretch the entire track at once, you have to process it piece by piece and distortions are obtained at the edges, which are visible as particles that do not fit into the overall pattern.
