But, to be honest, their use in everyday life is just as limited. Drawing a picture, composing a menu, translating text from a foreign language into your native language – it’s not that easy to come up with something beyond that. But Nvidia, which has recently launched the neural network Chat with RTX for work on a local PC, has now presented its new development called G-Assist. Let's see what it can do.

What is G-Assist from Nvidia

Project G-Assist – is a neural network that works as an intelligent assistant or, if you like, a coach for gamers. Its purpose is to help users complete games in all possible ways. It will not run and complete quests for you. After all, it is not designed for this.

The neural network will tell you how to act correctly to achieve results in the game

Instead, the neural network will monitor what is happening on the screen, point out errors and give recommendations on how to act in order to pass the level or get to a new location.

You can communicate with G-Assist both by voice and in chat

In order to understand the context of the game, G-Assist uses computer vision and natural language processing models. This way, it will be able to give the user feedback right during the game. If necessary, the gamer will be able to ask the neural network again, ask it clarifying questions, or ask for help in completing a specific task.

Communication is possible both in voice and text format. Therefore G-Assist can be accessed not only verbally, but also via chat. After analyzing the request, the neural network will generate an individual response that should really help you.

That is, it will not be some kind of general recommendation that can usually be obtained from game characters. With its help, the user will be able to act more precisely even in a situation where it is difficult to understand what exactly needs to be done.

G-Assist's response takes into account many factorswhich make the answer as personalized as possible. This includes the progress achieved, the emphasis in the formulation of the request, the player's current location, and previous mistakes that he or she may have made during the game. The neural network itself will understand how experienced you are and will help in accordance with this knowledge.

How to Play Without Lag Using Nvidia G-Assist

Besides help in passing the gameG-Assist will be able to give advice on setting up. The neural network will study your assembly, evaluate its capabilities and recommend optimal parameters so that the game does not lagbut provided the most comfortable gaming experience.

Which video cards will support G-Assist

However, it is already known that only owners will be able to use the assistant GeForce video cards. Nvidia did not specify which models would be supported, but given that Chat with RTX works with RTX 30-series cardsit can be assumed that the entry threshold for G-Assist will remain at the same level.

G-Assist will see problems in your build that interfere with the game
