about relatively powerful and not very miniature PCs for home and office. The collection includes not all devices that deserve attention. Moreover, over the past month, several more good systems have appeared, so it’s time to make a new article with a brief overview of the mini-PC’s capabilities.
Almost all of these devices are available for purchase. If you have already purchased some of the models, share your opinion on the purchase in the comments.
Asus PN41
It is a very small desktop PC with dimensions of 4.5 ″ x 4.5 ″ x 1.9 ″. Inside – an energy-efficient Intel Jasper Lake processor and passive cooling. This is a completely silent computer – if you need one, then it’s time to get a device.
There are several device configurations. The most basic one costs $ 169 – this is a device without SSD and RAM. If you want a ready-to-use PC, here is a list of available configurations and prices:
• 4GB DDR4-3200 RAM / 128GB PCIe 3.0 NVMe SSD / Win10 Pro – $ 330
• 8GB / 256GB / Win10 Pro – $ 370
• 4GB / 512GB / Win10 Pro – $ 380

As for the processor, it is a 6-watt Intel Celeron N4500 with two cores. Operating frequency – 1.1 GHz with overclocking capability up to 2.8 GHz. The developers also provided Intel UHD graphics, which is enough to solve most office tasks. The subsystem is capable of playing 4K video.
As for the set of ports, here is the list:

MSI Cubi N with Intel Jasper Lake
Another great mini PC that is already capable of supporting two screens at the same time. The size of the device body is 4.6 ″ x 4.4 ″ x 2.2 ″. It’s also lightweight so you can attach it behind a monitor or TV.
Cost – from $ 275. This is the price of a device with 4GB RAM, 128GB SSD and Windows 10 Pro. In the near future, the company promises to release models without RAM and SSD, so that the user can install their own elements. In Spain, a trial batch of such systems went on sale at a price of 150 euros.
In addition to it, two systems with disk and RAM are available for purchase:
• Cubi N JSL-006US with Celeron N4500 / 4GB / 128GB / Win10 Pro for $ 265 – $ 270
• Cubi N JSL-005US with Pentium Silver N6000 / 4GB / 128GB / Win10 Pro for $ 305 – $ 310
Fortunately, both are upgradeable, with a maximum of 16GB of RAM.

Simply NUC Cypress
In this model, a processor from AMD is already installed – this is Ryzen V2748 Embedded with Radeon Vega 7 graphics. In addition, it supports work with 4 monitors simultaneously. The device measures 4.6 ″ x 4.4 ″ x 2 ″.
The starting price is $ 639, for this price the buyer gets a device with a Ryzen V2516 Embedded processor, 4 GB of RAM and a 128 GB SSD. There are also more advanced versions with Ryzen V2546 or Ryzen V2748.
By the way, the operating system is not preinstalled, so it is necessary to install the preferred platform after the purchase.

Mac Mini to M1
This is the most famous mini PC in this collection. The Selectel blog wrote about him several times – and the device really turned out to be very successful. Here is a video with a fairly detailed description of the system’s capabilities.

The new Mac Mini is marginally different from its 2018 predecessor. The first difference is the ThunderBolt interfaces provided. The old generation has 4 ports, while the newer has only 2. The second notable difference concerns the color of the Mac Mini. Devices with Intel processors come in Space Gray, while M1s come in Silver.
The M1 processor consists of 8 cores on the ARM64 architecture. However, these are not ordinary kernels. Half of them are high-performance FireStorm cores, and the rest are energy-efficient IceStorm cores.
The Apple M1 has a 16-core Neural Engine for working with neural networks and machine learning. We have the opportunity offer to rent a server from macOS to M1. And this is exactly the Mac Mini.
MINISFORUM EliteMini HM90
And one more device with AMD on board. This is AMD Ryzen 9 4900H. RAM is supported here up to 64 GB, there are two slots for drives – one for SSD M.2 2280, the second for a 2.5-inch drive.
The cost is not so big for such a configuration – $ 479 and more. True, this is a version without drives and RAM. And yes, the processor for that price is the AMD Ryzen 5 4600H. But the version with Ryzen 9 4900H will only cost $ 20 more.

Chuwi RZBOX
In the previous compilation, it was indicated that this mini PC cannot be purchased. But now you can! True, its cost cannot be called low. Configuring 16GB DDR4-3200 RAM and 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD costs $ 749.
The Chuwi RZBOX measures 7.4 ″ x 7 ″ x 2.4 ″. It is based on an eight-core AMD Ryzen 9 4900H processor.
