The portable scanner Focus S 70 allows you to quickly, simply and accurately measure various objects and buildings. It records 3D data of facades of architectural structures, complex structures, industrial and warehouse buildings and other large-sized objects, providing realistic and accurate to the smallest detail scan results at a distance of 0.6 to 70 m.

Like the FARO Focus M 70, which merged into the award-winning FARO Focus family at the beginning of 2017, the Focus S 70 features industry-class performance at the best price / performance ratio.

Its advantages, in particular, include:

  • Degree of protection against solid particles, dust and moisture penetration IP 54. This means that the scanner is sufficiently protected to be used in dusty and humid rooms or outdoors, even in rainy weather.
  • Built-in camera for HDR shooting.
  • Extended temperature range – an ambient temperature of -20 ° C to + 55 ° C is acceptable.

In addition, users are still not limited in choosing those software tools that are more suitable for them to organize the production process, they may prefer both their own FARO – SCENE software and third-party software solutions, for example Autodesk Recap

A number of additional features inherent in the FARO Focus S 70 make it ideal for use where scanning at a more or less close distance is required. The accuracy of ± 1 mm was inherited by Focus S 70 from scanners of the following level: Focus S 150 and Focus S 350.

When FARO SCENE is installed on a PC or mobile device, FARO Focus S scanners support unique real-time registration – directly during scanning. Such registration became possible with the advent of SCENE software version 7.0

3D scan data, one or more at a time, is wirelessly transmitted to a workstation / PC, where it is processed and recorded.

Short distance, combined with best-in-class accuracy: the scanner is designed for both indoor and outdoor applications requiring scanning at a distance of up to 70 meters and with an accuracy of ± 1 mm.

Image capture speed of nearly 1 million dots per second.
