Bot for determining the disease of cats
I love animals, but unfortunately in our country most of the owners treat them like things. If a mongrel animal gets sick, then people do not bother about this, but simply wait for it to die and take a new one. Only a small fraction of people try to take them to the vet or google for a solution.
Therefore, I decided to use my programming abilities and write a bot that can determine the likelihood of an animal’s disease by polling symptoms. At the moment, these are cats, but if the project turns out to be in demand, I will add other animals.
I also want to launch a neuron that will determine the disease of cats from a photo. These will be diseases associated with the skin and the musculoskeletal system.

Test Run Results
At the moment, the bot determines the 23 most common diseases of cats. The sampling algorithm covers all symptoms as much as possible in order to determine the diagnosis as accurately as possible. But it also takes into account the saving of a person’s time during the survey. If the diagnosis matches all the symptoms, then the result appears before all the symptoms are listed.
The total polling time is 1 – 2 minutes.
The bot is written in Python 3.10. Database for its implementation is not used. Everything works by simple iteration in a loop. For the VK bot, I used the vk_api library, for the telegram telebot. Total elapsed time – 2.5 weeks. Bots are running on a VPS server. All difficulties in the process of writing code were solved with the help of a debugger.
