Analysis of the DESIGN section on DUMP: where to grow and develop?

Design is one of the most visible and attended sections at the DUMP conference. Here it is worth remembering the report by Alexei Kulakov about feedback. At the last conference, he raised issues that are very important and close to every designer:

This year we also have something to discuss. Let’s talk about the designer’s development zone.

Specialists of different profiles and experience will come to the design section as listeners. And the task of the speakers is to show and tell what will allow at the end of the session of reports to say: “This is interesting, I want to try the same.” Or: “I want to adjust this (which is fine) and try to implement it in my workflow.”

Anton Rusetsky, the director of multimedia programs at JetStyle, as a representative of the program committee, said that “this stream will not be a set of universal answers to questions, it is more about stories and situations. About finding solutions to current problems. To do this, we try to discuss the reports with our speakers from the point of view of the balance between their cases or the methodology they talk about, the experience gained and examples of implementation. I think this will allow you to get hooked on interesting aspects for managers, art directors, and designers”.

If you go over the reports, then Alexander Obanin will tell you how you can apply in your workflow generative design and will show how you can use it to solve utilitarian tasks, as well as make various digital beauty. An interesting topic for those who want to automate routine design processes, and for those who want to try to create something unusual, interactive and diverse.

Tamara Persikova will show what is – be a voice assistant designer and how this topic might develop in the future. What tasks the company is currently solving with the help of these technologies and how it all looks from the inside, when designing the interaction between the user and the system. And what other skills a designer needs to develop to work with this theme.

Pavel Kolodyazhny will act as a guest star. From him we learn how switch to a state of focus and concentration… We are waiting for a simple and understandable algorithm of actions.

We will try to tell you in an interesting way about the wonderful and diverse world of problems and solutions in which designers live. The main thing that I would like to achieve is to give the audience ideas for positive change within their work groups and processes.
