So, the goal of the training project was for AI Expert School students to study a dataset of several hundred incidents proposed by Monq and train a language model based on Sber GigaChat, which will be able to analyze new incidents, classify them and offer recommendations for eliminating them based on the previous one experience.

The task involved integrating LLM via API with the Monq monitoring system using a built-in no-code engine for automated data analysis in real time. The business outcome would be a reduction in the time spent analyzing an incident from an average of 30 minutes to 5 minutes.

Students developed an AI Copilot prototype for IT monitoring, following the following action pipeline:

  • First, they manually created the signal, simulating its automatic appearance in the monitoring system.

  • Then a business process was launched that sent a prompt to Sber GigaChat, including the name and description of the incident.

  • In response, the neural network provided recommendations for solving the problem.

  • These recommendations were then attached to the signal using the Signal Update block, adding them as labels. The future version of Monq 8.4.0 plans to use full custom fields for creating Postmortem reports.

Monq actively uses AI and ML technologies in its development. For example in recent release The launch of an accident forecasting service was announced, and in the coming versions a recommendation system for eliminating incidents will be introduced.

Conclusion

AI CoPilot, also known as AI assistant in ITOps/ITSM, is a generative AI-powered virtual tool that helps you complete daily tasks, from routine to mission-critical. It can be integrated into various aspects of IT technology.

In the context of ITOps and ITSM, the AI assistant CoPilot evaluates infrastructure problem signals in real time, giving engineers a hint about the most likely source of the problem, the consequences and suggesting steps to resolve the incident. The virtual “co-pilot” uses language that the IT employee understands and helps not only understand the source of the problem, but also in drawing up relevant reports.
