1C cloud, servers with Keycloak and much more

Hello! My name is Alexander, I am a technical writer at Selectel. In this digest, I tell you what updates we released in February and remind you about the recording of the last webinar for analysts.

Added quick start to Managed Kubernetes

The Managed Kubernetes cluster view form now has a block Fast start. Inside are instructions for connecting to a cluster for Linux and Windows, installing Ingress Controller and configuring a load balancer. Compatible products and links to documentation are also available there.

Quick start of Managed Kubernetes in the control panel. The block is displayed during the cluster deployment phase.

Launched cloud servers with Keycloak

In the Selectel control panel you can now create a cloud server with Keycloak. The service is needed to improve security and control access to applications: it allows you to regulate user sessions and access permissions to resources, provides application security control and simplifies user authentication and authorization. Thanks to Keycloak, you can connect to different services through one account.

Increased performance of cloud databases

IOPS now reaches 90,000, and throughput is 1,000 Mbit/s on our hardware. To get the most out of cloud databases, IOPS can be increased to 120,000 and throughput up to 1,300 Mbps. This is done upon request via a ticket.

Cloud firewall released

The entire network of several servers can now be protected by one cloud firewall from open port scanners and potential attacks from external networks. Templates for the most common firewall configurations are already loaded into the control panel.

We launched a ready-made 1C cloud

This is a platform service focused on optimizing work with 1C applications. The cloud includes an application server, a web server, and a PostgreSQL-based database cluster. We deployed the service on the power of our own cloud platform, added mechanisms for scaling, backup and individual configuration.
