Andrey Breslav on psychotherapy for everyone

April 21 – in the coworking space at 9 Lomonosov St. [в Санкт-Петербурге]

Next week Andrey Breslav, known for his participation in the work of the Kotlin and JetBrains teams, will talk about a new product – a service for the selection of psychologists and psychotherapists Alter… It is interesting in that it uses an algorithm developed together with representatives of the Psychological Institute of the Russian Academy of Education. At the event, Andrey will share his personal experience that prompted him to launch the service and talk about how to act in situations when the scientific space is overflowing with methods and approaches for providing such assistance.

Immediately the next day after Andrey Breslav’s event at the same venue will speak Dmitry Zhukov, Doctor of Biological Sciences and Professor at the Institute of Physiology named after V.I. I.P. Pavlov of the Russian Academy of Sciences. He will explain how the mechanisms that trigger stress work, talk about its benefits and harms to the body. “New Phystech”: Frank Wilczek’s seminar

The new Physicotechnical Institute of ITMO University regularly publishes materials in our blog on Habré [раз, два, три] and this time he will organize a presentation on the topic “Axions and the problem of dark matter”. It will be conducted by a world renowned expert, owner 2004 Nobel Prize in Physics, writer and enthusiast in the field human enhancement Frank Wilczek. Hackathon with the support of the CroBoDDIT project

April 23-25 ​​- online

It’s about crossborder-driven in the field of IT and the cooperation program “South-East Finland Russia”, which has been operating since 2014. The hackathon welcomes those who are familiar with development in the field of big data, IoT and blockchain technologies. Participants will be invited to tackle the issues of natural resource management and protection.

You can get involved in the work personally and act completely independently, or you can join one of the teams. The projects will be evaluated by an expert jury consisting of representatives of international organizations. The winners will be offered online internships with partner companies of the project with options for subsequent employment, plus other opportunities to develop their undertakings and ideas implemented at this hackathon.

Hackathon with Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions

April 23-25 ​​- online

This is a student event for those still in school and recent graduates. It will run in a mode of work on several topics: from smart office to recommendation systems and business intelligence. Participants will be able to choose a suitable direction and propose their own project. The event is organized by our Faculty of Software Engineering and Computer Science in partnership with the Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions division.

Interestingly, the finalists of the hackathon will open an unhindered path to the master’s degree program “IoT technologies“And”System and application software», If they use generative adversarial networks, data visualization solutions and artificial intelligence systems in competitive projects.

Demo Days of the Novy Phystech Master’s Degree
